Does Bhutan restrict limited Travellers in one year ?

Bhutan does not limit Travellers however there are only two airlines that fly to Bhutan and due to this logistic issue it is difficult to confirm seats especially during festival period. The clients are advised to work with their travel agents if you want a smooth travel to Bhutan for booking for air tickets and other logistics. 

From which sectors is it accessible to enter Bhutan?

By flights , Bhutan has connections from India ( kolkotta and Delhi ), Bangkok and Singapore . 

By Road , Bhutan is accessible through Siliguri , india and enters Phuentsholing , the west southern part of Bhutan 

How is the internet services in Bhutan ?

There are two Mobile services in Bhutan , namely Bhutan Telecom and Tashi Cell . As you land in Paro International airport you can avail a SIM card from the Bhutan Telecom Center and immediately use it . 

Can you change your currency at the airport ?

Ngultrum is Bhutanese currency and it is at par with the Indian ruppee. Today ( 08.09.2022 ) the value of 1 $ equals to 81.05 Ngultrum. The Bank of Bhutan has a counter in the Paro Airport where you can exchange your money. For exact Fx currency on the present date you can go to their website www.bob.bt 

Is smoking and drinking alcohol allowed in Bhutan?

Yes , smoking and drinking alcohol is allowed in Bhutan. There are designated places for smokers so please refrain from smoking in Public places . 

What about Drugs and Prostitution in Bhutan?

Drugs and Prostitution are illegal in Bhutan. Please refrain from asking your guide to arrange such activities since such activities is considered against the law of our country. 

How safe is Bhutan ?

Bhutanese people are known for their generosity to outsiders . They are always ready to extend an extra hand . There has never been as of date any major incident where a tourist was attacked or robbed. However as times are evolving taking precaution is the general advise you give to our clients for their own safety. 

What about Dog issues?

As a Buddhist country, animals are treated with respect however in the recent years Dog population grew tremendously and it has become a nuisance to the public.  Many tourists have complained especially in urban towns that the dogs kept barking the whole night. A general advise we give our clients is please try to get some ear plugs if you prefer a sound sleep. 

Are there Night life in Bhutan ?

Thimphu has some outstanding places after dinner , Live music , Bar and Hang outs . All the places are safe and friendly.
